OKA Classique Cheese Fondue

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 190 g Oka Classique cheese, grated
  • 500 g Swiss cheese, grated
  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch
  • Ground pepper, to taste
  • 1 pinch nutmeg

  1. Rub the inside of the fondue pot with a clove of garlic.

  2. Pour in the white wine and heat over medium heat. In a bowl, mix the grated cheeses with the cornstarch and stir to coat well. Gradually add the cheese mixture a bit at a time to the white wine while stirring with a wooden spatula. Wait until the cheese melts before adding more. Stir continuously until a smooth texture is obtained.

  3. Lower the heat. Season with pepper and nutmeg, then serve immediately.
